Something you can give your clients, and charge for.

Most AI help stops at your own office. These are tools your clients use, built around your systems, that save your team time and give you something new to sell.

Why it matters

Your clients' habits decide your margin

Under MTD, the time your team spends on a client depends heavily on how good their records are. AccountingWEB put it simply in July 2026: record quality determines the margin. Fixing that is usually a client problem, and clients don't change habits because you asked them to.

A tool that makes sending records easy changes the habit for them. Priced properly, it's something clients will pay for.

The Client Records Assistant

Receipts in by WhatsApp, filed where you need them

For your clients

They send a photo of a receipt, forward an email or use a simple web form. That's all. No app to download, no login to forget.

For your team

AI reads each record and files it into Dext, Xero or your Drive. Clients get quarterly reminders before your deadlines. You get a record-quality score for every client, so you know who needs a nudge well before the deadline.

Note

The Assistant gets records to you faster and tidier. It doesn't make anyone MTD compliant on its own; records still end up in MTD-compatible software.

Built around your existing tools

Works with Dext, Hubdoc and Xero

It feeds the software you already use rather than replacing it. It's aimed at the clients who were never going to use an app, which in most practices is a good share of them.

Data and responsibility

Who's responsible for what

Your firm is the controller of your clients' data. I'm the processor, and we sign a data processing agreement before anything goes live. Your clients come to you for support, and I support your team.
